Ohio Statewide Summit for Enrichment and Education – Registration is NOW AVAILABLE!

Greetings 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Sub-Grantees! Registration for the mandatory FY18 All-Grantee 21st Century Orientation and the Statewide Summit for Enrichment and Education is now open! To register, go to https://ssee.eventnut.com/register. When you register, you MUST know your grant number(s).  If you are not sure what your grant number(s) are, a listing is provided here: FY18 ACTIVE 21st CCLC GRANTS. The option to insert N/A is for McKinney-Vento Grantees ONLY.  Both the orientation and the summit will take place at the Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center locate at 100 Green Meadows Drive South, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035. Please Note: the actual person registering needs to attend on behalf of your programs’ grant(s)!

The mandatory All-Grantee 21st Century Orientation will be held on September 18, 2017. At least one staff member (preferably Program Managers, and we highly recommend your Evaluator) from the awarded organization must attend the orientation.  We will have pertinent trainings and updates for new and continuing grantees, with breakfast and lunch provided.

The Statewide Summit for Enrichment and Education, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow: A Pot of Golden Opportunities for Ohio Students,” is September 19-20, 2017.  This event is mandatory for all 21st CCLC Program Managers, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 5th year Treasurers. Please Note: Due to space, we must limit attendance to a MAXIMUM of two (2) REPRESENTATIVES PER GRANT. However, if you have multiple grants it is NOT MANDATORY to have the maximum per grant attend.

For both the orientation and the summit, documents will be available electronically for View, so feel free to bring your laptop or tablet to use.

Finally, we would like to acknowledge the hard work you are doing out in the field.  To do so, we are asking program managers to submit program pictures highlights from Spring 2017 through the PRESENT – no more than (2) per grant. We have some photos that were submitted previously, however, we encourage you to submit something new.   Please submit any photos to Charmaine Davis-Bey at charmaine.davis@education.ohio.gov (RE: 21st CCLC Picture Highlights – [Program/Grant Name]) by September 1, 2017.
