Congratulations to University Settlement, Circleville City Schools and Omega Community Development Corporation for the work they are doing for their youth through 21st CCLC, and the impact it is leaving on the community served!

University Settlement (Northeast Region) – New Programming Partnership
Cleveland Cavaliers point guard, Matthew Dellavedova and his wife Anna, have partnered with University Settlement’s SmartY’S Program for the 2019-2020 school-year. On October 17th the Dellavedova’s held Delly Vision Day at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland where youth received free vision screenings from Cleveland Clinic practitioners. In November the youth who need glasses will receive them at a CAVS game.

On October 24th the Dellavedovas launched “Delly’s Book Club,” at University Settlement’s SmartY’S Program weekly Homework Diner. Each youth received the book “School Days According to Humphrey,” where they will read weekly during 21st CCLC programming!

Circleville City Schools (Central Region) – Programming Highlight
There is some exciting news from the Circleville City’s 21st CCLC high school program! For the 1st nine weeks of the program, the students of the Online Digital Academy (ran by Mrs. Morgan VanDellen) recovered 8 credits collectively. Their goal is 15 for a pizza party, but nonetheless all are VERY PROUD of the students and staff for their accomplishments and hard work!
