Reminder: Summer 2019 Data Due 7/8/20 at 5pm!

Several grantees have not reported their Summer 2019 data. Ohio’s goal is 100% reporting – even if there was no summer 2019 programming, staff must log into the system and mark the program(s) as inactive for that term.

Please visit use the federal 21APR site at https://21apr.ed.gov/ to be sure the following are complete:

  • verify centers listed;
  • enter data for Summer 2019 activities for each center; and
  • check inactive for centers with no summer 2019 programming and choose other as the justification for the inactive term.

Please note that while there has been a change to the look of the site, the functionality remains the same. The system will close tomorrow, July 8th, 2020.

If you need password assistance, please contact Tabitha Palmer at tabitha.palmer@education.ohio.gov before the system closure date.

Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Grant Program 2020 Summer Symposium: July 14-16, 2020

Symposium PicRegistration is now open for the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Grant Program 2020 Summer Symposium. This three-day event was designed to provide State Education Agencies (SEAs) and their grantees with relevant plenary sessions and workshops that familiarize 21st CCLC grant recipients with successful strategies in implementing and managing all components of the program. Grantees who participate in the Summer Symposium will be provided with virtual networking opportunities to get to know other grantees and SEA representatives from their state and beyond. It also offers an opportunity for the Department to provide important updates regarding the 21st CCLC program. The Symposium’s sessions are a combination of large group presentations with nationally recognized speakers and smaller interactive workshops where attendees have the chance to work closely with education experts.

This year’s Summer Symposium will be held July 14-16. Please take a moment to review the following preliminary information.
